Free Camps & Community Services

  • Adopted 2 primary health care centers in 2 villages 1. Pedakurapadu, Guntur Dist. and 2. Vellatore (V), Repalle (Md). In this project we have been conducting FREE HEALTH CAMPS every month since 2005 to provide speciality treatment in the slum and rural areas. The Free Health Camp includes free consultation, Screening, Lab Investigations and Medicines. The camp details are updated regularly to DME & Department of Health & Family Welfare. So far we have conducted 750 camps covering the patients around 57440.
  • As a part of NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme by Govt. of A.P. we have been conducting free heath camps in different districts from the year 2008. Total number of camps conducted so far is around 250.
  • In addition, free camps are conducted in various departments of Govt. And Non-Govt organizations like Railway, BSNL, Police, AP GENCO, APSRTC, PF employees, District Court Bar Association, Indus Ind Bank, Pensioners association, etc.
  • The hospital conducts parallel free OPD’s in all the days within the hospital premises (average 75 pts/day) for the BPL families. Total Free Angio’s done – 7000. Every day a worth of around Rs.20,000 to 30,000 concession were given to the needy middle class patients apart from the free camps and free services.
  • The hospital actively organizes Patient Education programmes on the occasion of World Heart Day, World Stroke Day, Epilepsy Day, World AIDS Day, World Asthma Day. In these programmes, various awareness activities are done through PPT presentations, campaigns, pamphlet distribution, press meet, Live interactions, Volunteer network, etc. For the innovative programmes conducted on stroke under the supervision of Dr. P. Vijaya M.D., D.M. Chief Neurologist the Institute has won the Gold Medal & Honors for 2 consecutive years from the World Stroke Association.
  • 80% of treatment in Cardiology & Pediatric Surgery are done under free Government scheme / subsidized category.
  • Our organization conducts periodic health check up camps for our employees and their families and for poor people.
  • Our organization contributes for the education of our children of our employees and for orphan children.
  • Our organization is an active participant in all the activities conducted by Government organizations such as MCI, APPCB, IMA, etc.

Philanthropic Activities

Dr. P.V. Raghava Sarma M.D., D.M., & Dr. P. Vijaya M.D., D.M., started “Kutumba Rao Charitable Trust” in the name of her Late Father as “Pamidimukkala Kutumba Rao Charitable Trust”. Through this trust thousands of merit students received scholarships for their Education expenditure regularly from the year 2006 onwards, till now Rs. 9,77,519/- donated. And also donated (Rs. 22,55,033/- ) from Lalitha hospital to various Voluntary Service Organizations, Charitable Trusts, to Chief Minister Relief Fund, Temples, Colleges like J.K.C College, B.H. College, etc., several orphanages, Seva bharathi, etc. The Hospital also extends its services during Natural Calamities, Hud Hud Cyclone (donated Rs. 5.0 Lacks), for Guntur Medical College Equipments donated Rs. 6.0. Lacks

  • Free & parallel OPD runs every day in Lalitha Hospital from Mon- Saturday
  • Till now total no. of Inpatient cases seen – 5186
  • Free screening camps - 151 camps, 101628 patients seen and 13238 patients referred to hospital.
  • Free OPD every day - 100 patients
  • 1000’s of patients under BPL/WRC were given free treatment for Inpatients

Dr.P.V.Raghava Sarma MD.,DM Cardiologist given ppt presentation “Heart diseases -Awareness programme” on the occasion of World Heart Day, 25th Sep 2011 in collaboration with Eenadu – sukhibava at Gondhi Seetharamaiah Kalyana Mandapam and also presented at South Central Railway, Guntur division, Medical department.
